Learning about your camera {visual virtual class}

Hey y'all!!

I wanted to share a GREAT teaching resource with you!!

When I went to Haven (read about that here) back in June, I had the privilege of being a student in an awesome photography and staging class...

Meet Josh and Kevin

Some of you may know Kevin from The Lettered Cottage (an awesome blog Kevin and his wife, Layla do together).  Well, he and his bff Josh have their own photography and photoshop training business online!!  They teach the layman (that'd be me... and you?) how to use our DSLR camera.
I love that they use terms we can all identify with while giving you visual lessons.  You can go at your own pace by using the PAUSE button and the REWIND button to hear things again and again (features that I happen to love because the more I hear/see it, the more it "sticks". ya know)

Shoot Fly Shoot

Isn't that just the best name?!
Well, let me tell ya... they taught me SO much about my camera!

Like what??

Like, I AM SMARTER THAN MY CAMERA!

What exactly does that mean??

Go to the top of my blog in the upper left corner and click on the icon for shootFLYshoot and take a class!!  BEST decision you ever could've made to learn about making your camera work for you!

Let me know your thoughts! I'd love to hear what you have to say!

hugs,

k.

If you don't have a DSLR camera, but are in the market for one, they tell you their recommendations on their blog~  ;)

  1. You know, I haven't owned a camera in a hundred years. Except for the camera on my phone, of course.

I probably ought to put that on my list of things to think about, huh?

    1. YES... get a camera. When you're old and senile you'll need something fun to look at... YOURSELF!! ;)
