One thing I've learned teaching Zumba is that just because you're skinny doesn't mean you're in shape! ;-) Focus on getting healthy and the rest will work itself out...and by all means, keep your AWESOME sense of humor!! LOL
Skinny ain't the answer...and girls are supposed to have a few curves!!
But I hear you. I'll always feel like I need to drop a few till my dying day. It's never enough.
I just started back walking (and running about 4 steps) last weekend. Did it for over 18 months, lost 20lbs...then quit at the holidays. Like a fool. It's tough getting back into it but I'm trying.
God knows I'm trying. Hang in there...I'm with you!
We are all in the same boat... Indeed, it is never enough. Once in awhile, I have a day (like today) when I decide that I'm ok the way I am - I'm a 40 year old mom, for goodness sake! I focus on how much better it is to be kind, and loved, than skinny. (I am mean & snarky when I'm hungry!!!) ... Then I go somewhere in public and see skinny people in cute outfits, and I'm right back to feeling disgusted with myself!!! And so I imagine it goes for alot of us... What a roller coaster, eh?! Hang on tight!!! You are awesome, so try to squelch that little voice. Be healthy first & foremost!!
We are DEF in the same boat my anonymous friend!! MOST definitely! :) Satan wants me fat so my faith needs to be stronger than Satan... that's the honest truth. Just have to remain focused and in prayer when I'm feeling weak ♥ I love the support!! Keep in coming!!
Hi Kristy! I hear you! It just takes soooo much work! It is possible! My husband has lost 50 lbs since August 2011! I'm so proud of him! We have just started eating healthier. In 2005 I lost about 50 lbs and since hubby started trying to loose, I've lost about another 10. To be honest, it's been soooo much easier with the kiddos gone to college!
Anyway, I think your blog is adorable and I am awarding you the Liebster Blog Award! Check out my post at http://thestonybrookhouse.blogspot.com/2012/04/liebster-blog-award.html
